We are currently seeking members for our Bryker Woods Campus Advisory Committee (CAC) for the 2025–2026 school year, and we would love to include more voices from our parent and community members.

The CAC is a collaborative, campus-based advisory group that works with the principal to review and provide input on important topics such as the Campus Improvement Plan, budget priorities, school safety, and academic programming. CAC members help ensure that a variety of perspectives are considered in campus decision-making.

We are especially looking for a business representative to join our committee. This can be a parent or community member who owns or is employed by a local business—so if that describes you, we hope you will consider serving.

According to Austin ISD guidelines, each CAC must include:

• Parents (of currently enrolled students)

• Teachers (assigned to the campus and serving in a classroom role)

• Campus Staff (non-teaching staff assigned to the campus)

• Community Members (must reside in the district and not have a child at the campus)

• Business Representatives (can be a parent or community member; must be affiliated with a business)
