As we look ahead to the 2025–2026 school year, it is extremely important that we know which of our current students will be returning. This information directly impacts our staffing and resources for next year. Staffing is based on enrollment — and your registration matters.

Spring Fling Fundraiser
It’s the second of the PTA’s two major fundraisers for the school year. Do you have your tickets yet? It’s not too late.
Parent Input Form
We will soon begin the thoughtful, collaborative process of creating class groupings for the 2025–2026 school year. At Bryker Woods, we work carefully to build balanced classes where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
Field Day Volunteer Sign Up 2024-2025
Mark your calendars! I am excited to announce that our annual Field Day will take place on Friday, May 9th. This is our culminating event in PE that celebrates the hard work and achievements of all of our students throughout the year. The day will be split into two sessions: Pre-K-2nd grade will participate from 8:15-10:43 AM, then 3rd-5th grade will participate from 12:03-2:31 PM.
Austin ISD GT Showcase!
Austin ISD invites all Gifted and Talented students to participate in a district-wide showcase! Projects may be entered into the showcase through April 11, 2025. This year's theme is "This is Our Story!"
Bryker Woods Is An Authorized IB World School
Bryker Woods Elementary is proud to announce its official designation as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Technology Updates
AISD has completed the technology inventory for all 110 campus and device distribution has been scheduled. Bryker Woods students will receive devices on August 18, 2023. 2nd Grade and below will receive a class set of devices.
Morning Procedures
Early Arrivals: Our doors open for all students at 7:15 each morning. Students arriving before 7:30 will wait in the cafeteria until our 7:30 bell rings. Breakfast is available for purchase for all BW students.
